RØDE Microphones is looking for passionate, talented and dedicated Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our rapidly-growing team.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Delivery of prototypes in a fast paced product development environment
  • Accurately test, measure and document
  • Ensuring all projects uphold a high standard of functional and technical performance – in line with the RØDE brand
  • Manage inputs from key stakeholders
  • Produce reports for the management team
  • Maintaining, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to component replacement of 3D printers
  • Setting up the build for 3D printing and clean up

The skills and experience you bring will be enhanced by our Technology, you will be

  • Able to build mechanical prototypes in different materials and processes
  • Able to set up test equipment and jigs, conduct mechanical test, collect data and calculate results
  • Able to use or be willing to learn how to use different machines for prototyping and mechanical testing
  • Problem solving skills
  • Effective hands on mechanical skills
  • Able to closely work with designers/product design engineers to conduct and achieve product testing and prototype
  • Self-disciplined team player, able to work in multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Good written and verbal communication to all internal and external stakeholders
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Process-orientated approach
