Caffeinade is a film about the extreme amount of caffeine that people consume daily as if it's a drug. The film is meant to be about the crazy things that are put in caffeine drinks. It's based around a character who creates his own caffeine drink after having a distaste for the branded ones. I hope you enjoy the film and there is nothing I hate about caffeine just thought it would be a fun idea for a short film!
Behind the scenes of Caffeinade
Caffeinade was a $0 film with all equipment being owned before hand. For the film we shot on a Canon EOS 60D with a few lenses but mainly the Canon EF 50mm F1.8STM and the Canon EF-S 24mm F2.8. For audio we used multiple different products from RØDE and each of them delivered a great sound. Production was 5 days long. We shot chronologically from scene to scene. I had my family members help out for the shot that had the camera moving. Post production was simple as we used Adobe Creative Cloud and for music used Logic Pro X. This film was also being made around school time so I made sure to make a daily schedule so I could have enough time to film which worked well and something that could also be helpful for post-production. This film was fun to make and was great using the VideoMicro and NT1-A for the first time in a film!
