Behind the scenes of Cuando Planto Un Arbol (When I Plant A Tree)
Since we were traveling with a backpacking bag, a main concern with equipment on this shoot was size and weight, which is why I opted for small the Panasonic GH4 and a Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 OIS lens. The steady pans and tracking shots were achieved by using a Slider, ProMediaGear 24" Dual Action. For audio we used the Rode VideoMic Pro and Smartlav+. I edited and graded using Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
The behind the scenes video was partly shot on a GoPro (courtesy of Stellan Lange) and partly on a Canon 60D.
Shout out to Barbara Lopez for being an incredible Assistant Director, keeping me on task, and always being there to lend a hand.
